Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Taylor is a famous American actress and producer best famous for the roles she played as the character of Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist and the television show The Mentalist. She holds a BA in African-American Studies and an MFA from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is a producer as well as an American actor who is active in theater, television and film. Her acting career began in the theatre. She then appeared in numerous television shows, independent films and mainstream films. The actress gained prominence for her role as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. Then, she made an appearance in BET's epic television series The Book of Negroes. In 1995 she debuted in the role of Ariel on stage as Ariel in The Tempest. In addition to Broadway's Come and Gone, she also has credits for Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In her film career, she is renowned for her roles in films like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. On television, her part in the ABC's crime drama High Incident is well known.
